VISIBILITY — Beings from the 'other side' (such as gods!!!, like YATO) in Noragami are not invisible, per se, but they're difficult for normal, living humans to notice. Usually! While physically present, he's unlikely to be seen unless he calls their attention directly; i.e., he could be dancing a jig in front of somebody and they'd be none the wiser, but if he stops to say "hi" to them, they'll suddenly notice he's there.

EXCEPTIONS: very young children/babies, animals, supernatural beings, and/or people who are spiritually sensitive or possessed or dead won't have any trouble noticing him at all, ever. Unfortunately. Haha!

And even if none of that applies, some run-of-the-mill humans may just happen to be able to see him without problem, no explanation needed - it's entirely up to you! No worries. A normal human who is in regular contact with him will be able to see him easily as well.

MEMORABILITY — it's difficult for him to remain in living people's memories for very long. They may remember their interaction, but over time, their memory of him will fade. It may take minutes or months, but he's always forgotten eventually. There aren't any exceptions here.

But it can all come flooding back when they see him again.
